In-person enrollment and registration

Contact your school’s registrar for available hours, procedures and appointments. Campus schedules may differ, including at construction or transition sites.

You may complete forms online in advance or at your child’s attendance-area school. A parent or legal guardian must be present to enroll a student younger than 18.

Registration requirements

New to SBISD or moving to a different SBISD school? Coordinate with your attendance-area school to provide the following documents.

  • Immunization record: A doctor’s record or official vaccination record.
  • School record: A transcript or report card from the last school attended.
  • Student identification: A birth certificate, birth fact record, passport, validated baptismal record or Social Security card, if available. If using a birth fact record, provide the birth certificate within 30 days of enrollment.
  • Parent identification: A driver’s license, photo ID, passport, military ID or government ID.
  • Proof of address: A current lease, mortgage statement, district tax bill or utility bill for electricity, gas, water, sewer or waste service. Internet and cellphone bills are not accepted.

For online forms, have an email address, phone number and internet access. Your school’s registrar will arrange document submission and help with questions about your situation.
