Consistency & Timing

For Head Boys and Girls Cross Country Couch Johnny Guajardo, the 2025 season at Spring Woods High School (SWHS) was about experience, consistency, and peaking at the right time.

“With three returning seniors on the boys’ side who’ve already run at regionals, we’ve got leadership and experience in place,” Guajardo said. “Our goal was to go back-to-back with a district championship.”

Stratford HS

Grit & Consistency

For Head Boys Track & Cross Country Coach CJ Fowler at Stratford High School (SHS), the 2025 season was built on grit, consistency, and raising more than just split times.

“Our strength this year was the grittiness,” said Fowler. “These kids just work. When you have runners who constantly want to get better, it allows your team to grow and deliver performances others may never see.”
